NEW - WATERSIDE AWARENESS TRAINING - from September 2009 This course is aimed primarily at anyone working near to still water, flood water or moving water. Any type of water rescue, including self-rescue, requires a combination of knowledge and experience. To achieve safe and successful rescues, the following must be considered.

Training Practice Experience Equipment Judgement If inadequate training, lack of practice, inexperience or incorrect choice of equipment occurs, then judgement may be compromised, presenting dangers to rescuers.
